It is really heart aching when children starts to get sick. First it was Steffie who is having fever and crack lips and it gets worst when the doctor suspect that she has the syptoms of a diease call 'Kawasaki', its a virus that attacks your own immune system especially the heart and the cause of it is unknown, it usually happens to children age 5 and below. So yesterday we were refered to KK hospital to do further diagnos and confirm that she meets all the criteria of this diease, but lucky thing is that the heart does not shows adnormal functionality. We just have to keep on monitor that her fever dun occurs during these 2 weeks if not we have to admit her to hospital and do the 'washing' of her immune cells.....pray hard everything will be fine.

Now I am having the feeling of both excitment and fear, I am excited and looking forward to my little Owen's arrival but fear of Steffie's condition. As for little Zoe she just recover from fever too and all the itchness spots on her starts to subside. Over the past 1 week, Mic and me had a full 24 hour shift to look after the kids. Monitoring their fever and handle their cries in the middle of sleeps when they complain of pains.

Sometimes, I start to ask why our environment have changed so badly compared to the olden days where virus and dieases are out of our life and we just recover so quickly by ourselves. The children nowsadays are surrounded by so many kinds of virus. Although I love to have more children but now I think 3 is really within my means....and I want all 3 of them to be healthy and happy :) cheers!
